70,000 followers on Instagram, record sales day, record sales month, record website sessions, and record number of items online - these are a few benchmarks from the past month as we approach our two year anniversary.

Let's go back for a minute. Josh, Adam, and I spent months looking for a space, planning the layout (selecting wallpaper, tile, wood color, shelves, etc.),  picking a name and logo - you get the point - a lot goes into it. Just like each item we have available, every detail that you see is carefully curated. We spent a discouraging amount of time working through paperwork to get onto 17th Street, so much so that it began to feel impossible. 

After selling bags out of our NYC apartment for months (it began to look like a storage unit), the day finally came. It was 6:00 p.m. on May 2nd, 2024, when we got the call. The three of us were at home all day when we were told we could get the keys. We could've waited until the next morning, but we had done enough waiting. We hopped on the uptown local 6 train, caught the office before they closed, and headed back down to Union Square. The day that we had reached for multiple times over the course of a few years had arrived.

Although our performance expectations have changed as we've grown, we continue to remind each other where we started. If we had 1,000 people visit the website in one day, we were ecstatic. If we sold a Chanel, it was a great day. We continue to adapt and push ourselves, setting new goals for the business to stay relevant in the ever-changing market. All of this to say, I am endlessly and irrevocably grateful for each and every one of you. If you are reading this, you have played a role in helping us build this dream. Meeting you is one of my favorite parts. I love what I do, and I am so grateful to be doing it. Thank you for a life-changing two years.
